A compact Jardins apartment redesigned for a couple who wanted to live simply and well. The solution removes nearly every internal partition, letting light and air move through the entire plan.
The kitchen and living area are now a single open space anchored by a long oak island. The island contains all kitchen storage and conceals the utility connections. Behind the island, a deep marble shelf functions as a bar and serving surface.
The bedroom is separated from the living area by a full-height pivot door in smoked oak. When open, the apartment reads as a single volume.
The bathroom was rebuilt with a single material — honed Travertino Classico — applied to floor, walls, and shower with no grout joints.
